Liam, Sam, Ava

So I just felt like posting some pics of my friends' child, Liam. He just never ceases to amaze me in how cute he is! And I love these pictures of him with Sam, their pug. They're slowly, but surely, learning to live in the same house and be at peace with one another. Ava is the first picture, my absolutely beautiful 2nd cousin...........I guess...........she is my first cousin's daughter.=) Jessie looked so much like this as a little girl, and I had that same little pixie nose. Guess I still do, but it's not as small and cute now. I'll be posting some pictures soon of our weekend with Matt and Meagan...........went to Memphis one day, where we took most of our pictures, and those mostly of animals at the zoo, of course. But there are a few of us!=) We had a blast, we're all a bunch of kids when we get together, always so fun! Coming soon.....

Utah Snow

Eric is in Salt Lake City right now, and is actually stuck there until they will let him drive his rental car down the mountain (he's at Snowbird). This is the same trip I went with him on last year when our flight got cancelled out there and a few hours delayed on the way back. It is what has made me swear off Frontier Airlines FOREVER! And if I never saw the Denver airport again, I would be thrilled. Anyway, Eric is having yet another adventure this year with something like over 2 feet of snow. I've totally lost track. They were supposed to get another foot today, but thankfully looks like it will only be another inch. It is actually illegal to drive down the mountain right now (they are just now letting people drive up it), or to ski up on the big slopes (the ski lift isn't even running). I can't even get my head around that much snow. I mean if people who live there are amazed, it must be pretty bad! Or I guess if you're a big skier, it's a good thing in your opinion. Here are a few pictures Eric took with his phone, so not the best quality, but look at how much snow is piled up on that cement thing in the 1st picture. Look closely, it's hard to tell just how much at first. Now I shall get back to wishing I was outside in our 80 degree weather today, but will have to be content with working in my cubicle. Fun times.

Charlotte Snow

While in Charlotte this past weekend, it actually snowed! I even got "stuck" there an extra day because of the roads being too bad to drive on. Now keep in mind, I went home to see my aunt and grandmother, who were visiting my mom, but do I have any pictures of them? No! I of course forgot the camera as usual, so these were taken on my phone, and I just don't usually like the way pictures of people turn out on the camera phone, you know? But they took some pictures, so hopefully I can get copies of some of those. Here are some pics of the snow and you'll also see one of me attempting to take a picture of the Bat Cave sign on the way into town. I just automatically think, "to the batcave!!!!!" when I see that sign.=)
